Damage Calculator
- Set up you — pick your champion, level and items in step 1.
- Set up them — pick who you're hitting in step 2.
- Build your combo — in step 3, click Q / W / E / R / Auto attack to add each cast, in the order you'd press them.
- Read it back — step 4 shows every cast, what it did, and whether they die.
Everything updates on its own as you change it. Numbers that this engine doesn't know are shown as
unknown, never as 0 — if something reads as unknown, the reason is spelled out under the results.
1. You (attacker)
Pick a champion to load their real base stats at the level you set. Items you equip change the numbers everywhere on this page.
2. Them (target)
A target starts as a plain dummy. Pick a champion for it to use that champion's real health and resistances instead.
3. Your combo
Click a card to add that cast to the end of your combo. Click it twice to cast it twice. Everything resolves
in the order shown, and auto-attacks carry your items' on-hit effects and crit automatically.
4. Results — cast by cast
Add a cast to your combo above.
Settings & map
Auto-attacks only land if the attacker is inside their attack range, and line/cone abilities are aimed at the
target from where the attacker stands. Drag units here to change that. If you never touch this, everyone stays
where they started, which is close enough to touch. Don't want range to matter at all? Flip the "Ignore range
& position checks" switch below.
Sustained damage over time — a timed window, cooldowns enforced
A different question from a combo: "if this fight lasts N seconds and they just keep casting whatever is off
cooldown, how much damage is that?" Cooldowns and attack speed are simulated here. Set the rotation by
dragging an ability onto a target in the map above.
Item value & gold efficiency — what one more stat is worth
Measures how much damage one more point of a stat adds to the sustained window above, and what that costs in gold.
Items marked △ are only partly modelled; hover one to see exactly what is missing.
Find the best build — brute-force search over an item pool you pick
Pick a gold budget and the items you want considered (nothing is picked for you), and this searches every legal
combination for the one that deals the most damage in your combo above, run entirely in your browser — a
30 second search cap, always honest about whether it finished or ran out of time. Every number below comes from
the same engine as the rest of this page, never an estimate.

What this calculator does and doesn't model
- Ability data covers 112 of 173 champions. If your champion's cards say "not extracted yet",
their abilities aren't in the data yet — auto-attacks, items and stats still work.
The frozen v1 calculator has hand-entered ratios for more
champions, and is kept online for exactly that reason.
- A combo is an order, not a timeline. Cooldowns, cast times and attack-speed timing are not
simulated in step 4, which is what lets you write "Q, auto, Q". The sustained-damage panel does simulate them.
- Items: 128 Summoner's Rift items, machine-extracted from Riot's own data. Ones marked
△ have stats or passives this engine doesn't count yet, and hovering says which.
- Armor, magic resist, armor/magic penetration and lethality are modelled, including
lethality's level scaling and the fact that two penetration items compound rather than adding up
(Void Staff plus Spellslinger's Shoes is 44.8% magic pen, not 48%). Item actives are not.
- Abilities that shred resistances — Corki's E, Renekton's E, Evelynn's W, Darius's E and
nine others — now apply that shred to everything you cast after them. Their real duration isn't in the
data, so it's modelled as lasting for the rest of your combo, and the results say so.
- Ranges and shapes matter. If a cast couldn't reach the target it says missed and
tells you how far away they were, instead of quietly counting as 0. Drag the units closer in
Settings & map if that happens, or flip "Ignore range & position checks" there to stop range
from mattering at all.
- Anything unknown is printed as unknown and never quietly folded into a total as a zero.
